1. A POSITIVE, FRIENDLY ATTITUDE & GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR!!!
2. Clothing you wear/bring should be; loose fitting and of a type that you don't mind getting a little dirty. These might include:
- One pair of strappy sandal (eg. Teva sandals) & one pair of shoe OR; 2 pairs of shoes (one to get wet in & one to change). NO FLIP-FLOPS!!
- You will not be allowed to go on river if you turn up wearing Flip-Flops or Crocs.
- We recommend 2 to 3 T-shirts (one to get dirty in & one to change) - Shirt or top that provides good sun protection
- We recommend 2 to 3 tracksuit pants or shorts (one to get dirty in & one to change)
3. Straps for spectacles or swimming goggles for people who wear contact lenses
4. Towel or Sarong
5. Sun Screen Lotion and Basic Toiletries
6. Insect repellents
7. Camera with water proof casing
8. Raincoat (the best way to keep warm & dry if it’s raining!)

Test your river rafting skills on the rapids of the
Kampar River
Navigate the easy but exciting class I-III with 14 rapids
of the mountains
Learn the basics of white water rafting, such as
capsize drills
Admire the lush rainforest
Vehicle such as a
car or van can be driven to Kampar
River, but if
the bus just
as the town of
Gopeng due to the narrow path.
You will be taken to a truck or van heading
to the river takes about 15-20 minutes.
As a standard procedure,
safety briefing will be done before
going down the river which covers the paddling commands, paddling skills,
capsize drills, actions when overboard or river rescue. After 15 minutes of
briefing by our professional river guide, you are now ready for a river rafting
adventure.
The
tour is rated as “easy” and suitable
for anyone over the age of 12.
Children have to be good swimmers and
they must be accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian. As for seniors,
as long as you are in good health and love adventure!
All our guides carry throw bags (rescue rope) and wear PFDs (life jacket) which
are designed for swift water rescue in order to carry two persons should the
need arise. If a participant cannot
complete the river rapid test then we would suggest him/her not to continue the
journey, for his/her own safety reason. Payment will be refunded in full.
Once
on the water you will be tackling exciting rapids on board 4, or, 6 or 8-man rafts. Float down the clear water river
admiring the surrounding rainforest. The river boasts continuous rapids graded
from class I - III.
Get up close and
personal with nature, experience an exotic and mystifying rainforest where the
fastest butterflies swarm by the riverbank. The clear water of Kampar River (Grade 1 to 2) is suitable for beginner
who want to try out water rafting for the first time. Kampar river is an ideal river to raft especially a family with
children, group of friends, student and company trip. People with
physically fit and those who crave for mild technical adventure whilst safely
enjoy a rafting trip. We have
taken quite a few families on the Sungai Kampar rafting trip. It is a great
experience for families as the rapids are fun and the risk factor is
manageable.
Along the river,
you'll have the thrills of tackling exciting rapids and floating down the clear
water river amidst a lush rainforest. You will ride the continuous rapids down
river, passing by some old tin mining plants. Have fun during the rafting like
do some body-rafting or even take a spin in the raft with your head in the
water..... or just get to the traditional fun of water fight with your fellow
rafters! Get wet and get in touch with nature once more!

Afternoon Session : 1:30pm ~ 6pm
